"Quiet retirement." Kim Hyun-sung's dreamlike memory, "Olympic bronze medal" and "Meeting with GAMST."

Kim Hyun-sung fell into memories of his active life after retirement.

Kim Hyun-sung made his professional debut with FC Seoul in 2009. However, he did not constantly seize the opportunity and sought to turn the tables through a loan transfer.

Kim Hyun-sung gained experience by renting Daegu FC and Shimizu S Pulse in Japan. He then worked with Busan I'Park, Seongnam FC, and Pohang Steelers and finished his professional career. After that, he burned down his last at Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power in Gyeongju.

Kim Hyun-sung finished his active career and continued to be as busy as his active career.

Kim Hyun-sung said, "I am exercising and traveling while resting, and studying to obtain a sports management certificate. I used to live a regular life, but it is also awkward because it disappears."

Kim Hyun-sung retired quietly and ended his career without informing his friends enough to ask.

Kim Hyun-sung explained why he decided to retire, saying, "I also had the will to extend my active duty. However, I had a hard time due to injuries. My performance did not come out as much as I wanted. I was complicated by stress. I slowly organized my mind."

Kim kept his retirement quiet, but his career attracted attention. He played in the AFC Champions League (ALC) and took part in Olympic games, an opportunity that no one was given.

"I don't think I can say anything other than FC Seoul when it comes to my active duty. I still vividly remember the away game at ACL and recorded my 1,500th goal," Kim said.

The most memorable event was the London 2012 Olympics. After being selected as a member of the national team led by coach Hong Myung-bo at the time, he defeated the U.K. team along with Park Chu-young, Koo Ja-cheol, Ki Sung-yueng, Nam Tae-hee, Kim Young-kwon, and Ji Dong-won, and won the bronze medal by defeating Japan.

"It was a dreamlike time," Kim said. "It is a dream that no one can experience to compete with a prestigious athlete in a world competition. It is a huge asset not only when I was an athlete but also for the rest of my life. I keep the bronze medal at home with the biggest frame in mind."

While enjoying life after retirement, Kim Hyun-sung participated in the Kings World Cup Nations with Lee Bum-young, a former national team goalkeeper, and built another memory.
